I founded Hursh & Hursh PC in 1992 to provide physicians with legal services focused especially on their professional needs within an increasingly complex healthcare field. Too many physicians who need legal counsel find themselves dealing with a large, impersonal law firm. Our practice is dedicated to offering each physician personalized legal services. To assure the best quality service, all our physician clients work exclusively with me, the founding partner. We can help physicians in all the life cycles of a medical practice. We review physician employment agreements to make sure they are fair and equitable. We form medical practices, and assure that they preserve a veil between the physician and judgments against the physician's employees and partners. We also assure HIPAA compliance, to reduce the physician's exposure to lawsuits from patients. We review managed care contracts, so physicians get paid promptly and fairly. Finally, if needed, we can help physicians in their sale of medical practice, to the hospital to obtain the best terms available.
