Peace Dale Shooting Preserve

Peace Dale Shooting Preserve

Originally a farm from the 1800's situated along the Saugatucket river in South Kingstown, Peace Dale Shooting Preserve was formed in 1949 out of a love for all things shooting and a desire to provide the community with a safe place to enjoy firearms. Since the formation, Peace Dale Shooting Preserve remains the oldest public shooting preserve in Rhode Island, accommodating all levels of shooters from firing your first shots to hosting top class competitors. Peace Dale Shooting Preserve is now entering a new chapter in it's history, providing New England with a state of the art NSCA Sporting Clays course, 5-stand facility and fully stocked pro-shop, in a beautiful wooded 125 acre setting. Boasting 52 stations, 16 fully automated, with shots that are constantly being changed, you will never have to be worried about shooting on a stale course with Peace Dale Shooting Preserve. We have multiple shots to chose from at each station, so you are in control of your experience. Our expert set targets will push your skill set to the next level, and help you to progress as a shooter. Complimenting our target selection is a carefully groomed course to give you the setting of a true New England hunting experience. Similar to the Sporting Clays course, our 5-stand field is stocked with new, state of the art trap machines, throwing a diverse selection of targets. Our 5-stand course is a great place to get in a quick round, host a friendly competition, or practice and develop your skills on specific target types. Are you new to the world of sporting clays? Would you like a rock solid sporting clays foundation to build off of? Come experience our New Shooter Clinic. We have devoted a section of our facilities to hosting new shooters to develop their skills so they can get the most out of our sporting clays course, and enjoy the feeling of dusting their targets with confidence.
