With current concerns for mental health care in our country, PAA has begun screening adolescents for emotional issues at well child checks. In addition, Dr. Anne Kernan-Grunzke has begun evaluating for depression and anxiety to diagnose and determine treatment plans. Dr. Kernan has had a special interest in mental health since starting medical school. Since going through additional training and education through Inova Medical Center this spring, she had been evaluating patients for depression and anxiety. If you would like to see Dr. Kernan, please call our office to make an adolescent appointment. Our ultimate goal is to provide the very best individualized healthcare to each of our patients.
