PEECO is a small and dynamic growing business that is accomplished in electrical engineering and power generation with experience in all facets of engineering production, manufacture and test involving power generation control and distribution equipment. PEECO provides power solutions to a variety of clients and industries in both the commercial and government sectors. Recent experience includes the development, design, install, manufacture of a power island in support of the US Missile Defense Agency at remote location. The power plant is a 10 MW hardened shielded facility that will provide power should an electrical magnetic pulse event (EMP) occur. PEECO is in the final stages of testing and commissioning this plant. PEECO manufactured the switchgear and controls, made modifications to the generator sets in its 35,000 square foot facility in Aston, PA. PEECO currently employs 27 people, primarily electrical and mechanical engineers. New contracts have just recently been received from The Boeing Company, ATEC Industries, and the US Navy. PEECO's services hundreds of commercial clients that include Scotland Memorial Hospital, Reading Memorial Hospital, Red Hook Waste Water Treatment Facility in New York, Longwood Gardens, Philadelphia Airport and Merck in the Caribbean and the Lower 48 US States. PEECO provides design specifications and engineering aspects of power generation and control, plus Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and electrical mechanical interfaced systems integration for utilities, both commercial and military end-users, other consulting firms and Original Equipment Manufacturers(OEM's). The areas of design include Power Plant, reciprocating, and turbine, mechanical and electrical, high-end controls for any application, in PLC, discrete control, or Hybrid Integration. Constantly striving to improve products and services, PEECO is in the process of ISO 9001:2008 Certification expecting certification by February 2012. PEECO has led the industry in providing custom Freedom IGear™ where PEECO engineers design and assemble solutions for switchgear and controls. PEECO's team and Mr. Guarini have worked throughout the world with extended projects in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Pacific Rim, as well as the United States.
