Peppermint Products

We are a young design label from Munich, Germany, founded by Roman Luyken and Nina Nikolaus on April 1st 2012. We design and manufacture accessories for your home, and this is how we do it: Our design process begins quite naturally by being super annoyed. Usually with a product we desperately need in our home, where anything we find can only be considered an insult to design. We thrive on using unconventional materials. So we dive into research, to find a unique material which fits the exact need of our product idea. For example 'Rope' for our Clothes Hanger, it is soft with no edges, the perfect match to ones fashion favourites. Having found the ideal material, we now set it free and let the material morph around its intended function and voilà, a new product is born! And finally, because no product is complete on its own, we experiment for ideas based on material and theme. You will be surprised at how each material opens a whole new world of functions and aesthetics! Through re-contextualization we create a unique product collection. We strive to create straightforward products with lots of extra added value! We concentrate on our favourite ideas, develop them, and figure out the best manufacturing technique. Wherever we can, we collaborate with social institutions. To ensure a reliable high quality supply-chain, our products are all made in Germany.
