During his years in the veterinary emergency room, Nir observed that the majority of his cases were for urgent care treatment, not life-threatening emergencies. The majority of his cases could be safely managed in an outpatient setting staffed with experienced doctors and technicians. An urgent care model could provide pet owners with a more cost effective and time efficient option than what is currently available in the veterinary community. From this idea PetMedic was born.
