Pexim was established in 1990, functioning as a company group (Pexim Solutions - Belgrade, Skopje, Sofia and Banja Luka, eMS Belgrade, Pexim CMS Kragujevac, and E-Mon). Pexim Solutions at the moment has more than 450 employees and from its establishment has been focused on development, implementation and support of solutions in the banking, financial, telecom and government sectors. Pexim is distinguished not only by the significant number of references, but also by the evident market success of the clients using Pexim's solutions. In January 2008, Pexim become member of Asseco SEE, part of Asseco group, which represents one of the ten largest IT corporations in Europe. Asseco group, with headquarter in Poland, today has more than 8.500 employees with branches in Slovakia, the Chez Republic, Austria, Germany, Lithuania, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Macedonia, and there are plans to expand operations into several other European countries and the USA. Entering the Asseco SEE group was an exceptionally important step for the Pexim Company which has strengthened its position in the Balkans, having the opportunity to expand its competencies and ensure even better and stronger presence at the target markets in Europe and the Middle East. In the area of infrastructure, Pexim has developed a separate program - System Integration (Infrastructure Services, Customized Application Services, AETS), under which it designs, implements and supports complex computer network solutions, servers, storage systems, operative system, databases and other system software. In addition to developing its own solutions, throughout these 19 years of successful work, Pexim has developed partnership relations with world leading IT companies such as: Microsoft (Gold Certified Partner), IBM (Business Partner), Cisco Systems (Gold Certified Partner), EMC (Premier Velocity Solution Partner), Wincor Nixdorf (Authorized Sales and Service Partner), Hypercom (Business Partner). Today, Pexim is active in seven areas: Core Solutions, E-Solutions, Business Intelligence Solutions, Professional Services, System Integration (Infrastructure Services, Customized Application Services, AETS), Customized Application Solutions and 24x7 Services, with a focus on developing vertical banking solutions. It is exactly owing to this vertical focus that Pexim has ensured its leading position, which is clearly recognized by Pexim's large partners. Pexim's solutions are developed and implemented at Microsoft platforms, while in the area of business models, Pexim uses IBM BDW models to implement its Business Intelligence solutions. This enables Pexim's products to be designed to ensure efficiency and quality in conducting banking operations, as well as flexibility and implementation within various organizational and technological set-ups. Such a flexibility has helped Pexim implement its solutions in different banks - starting with small banks with a small staff, without an operative network and with a specific portfolio of products and services, over to the largest universal banks with large staff, developed structure of operative units and complex portfolio of products and services (such as Banca Intesa Belgrade). In light of the above stated, Microsoft has ranked Pexim as the only Independent Software Vendor on the territory of Eastern Europe under the Yucon (SQL Server 2005) and Whidbey (Visual Studio. NET 2005) Ascend program, while IBM has selected Pexim as an exclusive partner in the Region for development and implementation of solutions based on IBM BDW models.
