Piedmont Health was founded in 1970 by a group of healthcare professionals at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and local community members concerned with access to primary healthcare in the community. For years, it has been committed to helping change the lives of everyone in their community, whether thats through its medical services, dental care, on-site pharmacy, nutrition counseling or disease management. With eight convenient locations, serving counties in the Piedmont region. It's designated service areas are: Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Lee, Orange, Person, and Randolph counties and its corporate office are in Carrboro, North Carolina.
