Pacific Asia Express (PAE) is an independent Shipping Company established in 1991 employing over 100 people which has offices in Melbourne (Head Office), Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Launceston, Fremantle and Mildura. We currently handle over 60 vessel calls per month around Australia, including large container ships, semi conventional and dry bulk vessels. Through it's affiliated group businesses PAE is also involved in supply chain management, 3PL warehousing & distribution, cargo forwarding, container depot services, specialised container fabrication, chartering and project management. PAE is a part of the Pacific International Lines (PIL) group of companies. Incorporated in 1967, PIL has grown from a coastal ship-owner/operator based in Singapore to become one of the largest ship-owners in Asia. Today, it is ranked amongst the top containership operators in the world. PIL is widely diversified into logistics related activities such as supply chain management, consolidation/distribution facilities, warehousing, container depot operations, container manufacturing, marine engineering and real estate.
