Pioneer Circuits
Pioneer Circuits has been supplying hardware to NASA/JPL's Mars programs since the original rover, Sojourner, captured the world's imagination with its July 4th, 1997 landing on Mars' Ares Vallis outflow channel. Pioneer has supplied hundreds of electronic interconnects and assemblies for all of NASA's subsequent Mars lander and orbiter programs and has become an integral partner. Currently, Pioneer is working with NASA/JPL engineers to build components for the as-yet-unnamed Mars 2020 mission, which is slated to land on Jazero crater on February 18, 2021. Pioneer Circuits was established in 1981 and is a privately held firm based in Santa Ana, CA employing over 250 people from the surrounding communities.
