Piper High School
Piper Schools offer modern facilities that include two elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Students benefit from cooperative agreements with Kansas City Kansas Community College and Vocational/Technical Center, Donnelly College, as well as, special needs services through the Wyandotte County Special Education Cooperative. Piper students have access to a wide variety of co-curricular activities to ensure a well rounded educational experience. Piper students are among the top performing in Kansas. Piper High School has been recognized as the top performing high school in the Kansas City metropolitan area based on math & reading assessments. 97% of our students meet or exceed state and federal adequately yearly progress measures. 76% exceed expected standards. Piper High School was recently named as a Governors Dintinguished School (one of only 17 in the state) for Math, Reading and Graduation performance. ACT composite scores rank in the top 10% of a 21 county - metro Kansas City area.
