Located in Shelbyville, Ind., PK U.S.A., Inc. occupies a new 317,978 square-foot facility built on a 66-acre site. The plant is the primary supplier of metal body parts, chassis parts and plastic injection parts for automotive companies in the United States as well as other parts of the world. The parent company of PK U.S.A., Inc. is Press Kogyo Co. Ltd., one of Japan's largest independent automotive parts manufacturers, which owns 75% share. Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Tokyo, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.), Inc., both comprehensive trading and investment enterprises, hold a 25% combined share.
