Placer Mosquito
Up until 2010, the Placer Mosquito and Vector Control District was headquartered in Lincoln. The current office in Roseville is a state-of-the art vector control facility that houses administrative offices, control operations, biological control, and our laboratory. This 25,000 square foot building was purchased in 2008 with renovations completed in 2010. The facility renovations were designed by a local architectural firm with focus on usability and sustainability. The District also operates a substation near Truckee, which is staffed generally from April through October to provide vector control services to the Tahoe Area.
