Plain Mabel specializes in extraordinary craft gear, patterns, and kits, as well as DIY-centric accessories and gifts. Dozens of independent artists, designers, and crafters are represented at Plain Mabel and bring us a wide array of hip, innovative, and stylish products. Nearly all of the items found here are handmade, and each is a result of dedication, clever design, quality workmanship, and lots of love. Plain Mabel is owned and operated by Tara MacKay in Northampton, MA, and was launched in September 2003. The selection of products is constantly changing to reflect the latest work from our talented artists, and new items are added weekly.
