Plas-Tech Coatings was founded in 1978 by Thomas W. Sloan. After many years in the fluoropolymers industry (including employment at Allied Chemical and Whitford Corp.), Tom recognized the need for and developed a strong interest in providing industry with an elite source for the application of fluoropolymer coatings. Precise techniques, rigid quality control, superior knowledge, dependable delivery, and great respect for the art and science of coating application are the hallmarks upon which Plas-Tech was founded. Maintaining a dedication to these ideals has been the cornerstone to our success. Now, as in the beginning we take great pride in every job we do and welcome the opportunity to provide our services to you. Plas-Tech Coatings was accepted into DuPont's Licensed Industrial Applicator (LIA) program in 1981. The LIA program consists of an elite group of qualified companies that are selected for their extensive knowledge and experience in recommending and applying Teflon® industrial coatings, as well as for their quality and workmanship. LIA's are also kept abreast of new technologies from DuPont. As an LIA Plas-Tech maintains a broad range of Teflon® industrial coatings in inventory. Although DuPont has significantly reduced the number of LIA's in recent years, we have retained the prestigious LIA status for over 25 years. Plas-Tech operates in a modern facility in West Chester, PA; the QVC broadcast studio is our neighbor. We serve customers throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico.
