Plumb House, Inc. is a self-performing general contractor specializing in the construction and rehabilitation of multi-family housing for military, municipal, private and non-profit owners, and has put over 18,000 units on the market in the past 38 years. We self-perform the critical trades of concrete/foundations, rough framing, roofing, siding, exterior trim, interior partitions, and interior finish. Control of these trades affords an added measure of control over project quality, scheduling, cost and safety. In addition to construction services, we offer comprehensive design and value engineering capabilities, as well as assistance with permitting, zoning, financing and various city, state and federal requirements, such as affirmative action compliance and wage reporting. Having once been subcontractors ourselves gives us a unique perspective, which enables us to help subcontractors formulate some of their programs, procedures and processes. While our focus is large apartment projects, our residential housing experience also includes such uses as: assisted living facilities continuing care retirement communities military family housing elderly housing student housing historic tax credit rehab hotels We have developed a strong rapport with a core of repeat subcontractors who also specialize in housing. We enjoy a good working relationship with owners ranging from private developers, to the U.S. Government, municipal housing authorities and non-profits.
