polySpectra
polySpectra makes functional materials for advanced additive manufacturing in Berkeley, California. We use light-activated catalysts to 3D print advanced functional materials. Our modular platform enables us to deliver materials with a broad spectrum of tailored properties from a single chemical system. We call this process functional lithography. polySpectra helps inventors, designers and engineers make their ideas real. polySpectra was founded by Raymond Weitekamp to commercialize a discovery he made during his PhD research at Caltech. Raymond is a member of the founding cohort at Cyclotron Road, the groundbreaking hard technology innovation program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. polySpectra is supported by the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's Advanced Manufacturing Office, the National Science Foundation, and the Molecular Foundry.
