Portakal Teknoloji

Portakal Teknoloji has been founded in 2003 as a value added training and consultancy firm that will help institutions in their technology needs. The company has had a significant software development capability from the day it has been founded. Even though Portakal Teknoloji is known for its training on IT personnel, java enterprise infrastructure and support on Pardus, the Linux distribution developed by TUBITAK; the company has also been in important works in the field of information security. Portakal Teknoloji has participated in international projects (such as OPENTC and CIRRUS) and has contributed towards Java security standards (JSR-321). Portakal Teknoloji has ongoing academic relations with many universities, in particular, METU, I.D. Bilkent University, and Cankaya University. Also, the company supports Ministry of Education, Public Sector Linux Center since 2005. Today, Portakal Teknoloji provides services in many fields including planning, execution, testing, acceptance and deployment of IT projects in both public and private sectors; and develops niche technology products that itself uses or its clients needs. Portakal Teknoloji is very well aware that projects are disrupted for both technical and social reasons; and has experience in subjects like technology management, product management, organizational communication. Therefore, Portakal Teknoloji also offers value added consultancy services towards other technology and engineering companies, in particular abour planning and execution of R&D projects.
