Today we operate as Powerhouse Clothing Co. (Pty) Ltd with Justin and Nadeen at the helm as company directors. Our head office is based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal and our fabric mill, Powerknit, is located nearby in Pinetown. Having been in business now for over 25 years, we supply major retail chain stores throughout South Africa. Our customers include the likes of Mr Price, Edcon Group, Pick 'n Pay, Ackermans, Shoprite, Pep, Hub, Jam Clothing, Musica and other clothing designers. We have the reputation for being a strong, local, reliable supplier of high quality well priced knitwear based products to the South African chain stores. Although we specialize in printed cotton knitwear we also supply woven and denim garments, manufacturing up to one million outerwear garments per month and up to 700 thousand underwear garments. The company represents some of the top global brands that bring joy and enchantment to children and adults alike - Disney & Marvel, Barbie, Warner Bros, Fox, Hasbro, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Mattel, Top Gear and Hello Kitty, to name just a few.
