Prairie School of Dance
Prairie School of Dance offers fun, energetic and creative dance classes for children and adults incorporating a variety of music and dance styles. Dance teaches coordination, balance, strength and flexibility, and creates grace, beauty and self-expression. The instructors encourage students to use their imagination, develop their artistic expression and raise their skill level. All classes in this brochure are held at Prairie Lutheran Church. Discover the joy of dancing. Let your spirit soar! The director of the Prairie School of Dance is Sarah Linner Quie. Mrs. Quie graduated from St. Olaf College with a bachelors degree in Dance and has taught the joy of dancing for twenty three years. Sarah taught at Macalester College in MN and Saint Mary's College in South Bend, IN. Mrs. Quie has founded and directed three dance schools; St. Anthony School of Dance in St. Paul, MN, the Conservatory of Dance in South Bend and is currently the director at Prairie School of Dance. She was the dance director for the Early Childhood Development Center at the University of Notre Dame and Saint Mary's College in South Bend. She currently directs the St. Anthony Sacred Dance Company based in St. Paul. Sarah resides in Eden Prairie with her husband and three sons, and enjoys teaching dance as an expression of her Christian faith.
