Letišt Praha
The joint stock company Prague Airport (Letišt Praha, a. s.) was founded in February 2008 within the privatization transformation of a state enterprise Správa Letišt Praha, s. p. In 2011, Prague Airport was incorporated in the above-mentioned holding company structure with Czech Aeroholding as the sole shareholder. The statutory bodies of the joint stock company include a three-member Board of Directors and a Supervisory Board. Prague Airport works closely with the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic, air carriers, public authorities within and outside the aviation sector, and other users of the airport. It also enjoys close cooperation with the City of Prague and municipalities in the vicinity of the airport. Three air carriers have established their base at Václav Havel Airport Prague: Czech Airlines, Travel Service and Wizz Air.
