PSG Academy Soccer Club

PSG was founded in 1978 by Mr. Gaetan Fortin and Mr. Claude Roy in St-Georges, Quebec, Canada. At the time, the two partners had a pool retail business on 1st Avenue in St-Georges. In order to better occupy the fall and winter seasons, they decided to start selling wood stoves. The demand for this type of product was rising and although they had a great success in terms of retail sales, they experienced major difficulties in obtaining adequate supply from manufacturers. As a result, they decided to start manufacturing their own wood stoves in 1978. They established their manufacturing operation in a commercial building located in St-Georges (from which comes the name PSG - Poêles St-Georges).
