Developed in-house to communicate with our MRP system, the Process Monitoring System at QAP provides the shop floor with valuable production data in real-time from each injection molding machine. At QAP there are numerous insert jobs, many of which are loaded by the operator. As a result, monitoring gate open times is an invaluable tool for the production staff. The Process Monitoring System (PMS) is tied into our MRP system, so valuable scheduling data is available to the user, including hours to go and materials required. Since the PMS system is web based, users may access the shop floor in real time from wherever they have internet access, which is a valuable tool for management.
