Quirimbas Support Services (QSS) is a Mozambican company that provides a range of real estate ancillary services to the Oil & Gas sector in northern Mozambique. Its management has in excess of 25 years direct experience in the oil and gas industry, predominately in the upstream sector, and has extensive experience in the design, management, build, delivery and operation of camps and turnkey construction services in austere African environments. With its holding company operating from the UAE, QSS was incorporated in Q1 of 2013 as the result of a joint venture between The Hayaat Group (HG), a privately owned and funded investment company, and Maris Capital (MC), a private equity fund investing into the SME sector across Africa. Supported by a strong balance sheet, 'Hayaat Maris' (HM) is able to participate in major projects where it can apply its strong operational experience to its businesses and investments across the continent, including South Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. QSS is one of five investee start-up companies incorporated and trading in Mozambique under HG and/or MC. All specialize in providing various real estate services; more specifically the construction and leasing of warehousing (OSS Mocambique) and serviced accommodation (Mulitani SA), the provision of serviced office space (MMO), and the provision of mining services (Equator Drilling) MC also owns the leading serviced residential complex in Juba, South Sudan (Acacia Village). QSS is a strong believer in the principles of corporate social responsibility and strives to ensure these principles are integrated into its business practices.
