The school enjoys a stunning parkland setting just south of York. Around 85% of girls are boarders and we also welcome day girls from York and the surrounding area. The quality of pastoral care and strong sense of community ensure that all girls settle in quickly and join in every aspect of school life with enthusiasm and purpose. At Queen Margaret’s we encourage girls to aim high and then to exceed their expectations, offering a breadth and depth in education with a focus on independent learning.
