Radio Verulam provides a Community Radio service from West Hertfordshire, including St Albans, Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead and the Dacorum Area on the internet. Radio Verulam broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our programmes, include interviews, local reports, poetry readings competitions, anecdotes, local historical stories, topical reports, what's ons, community announcements, entertainment guides and other features. We are always looking for new ideas, so please contact us with your ideas and contributions. Radio Verulam is operated by Verulam Community Radio Ltd, which is a non-profit organisation established as a Company Limited by Guarantee (Reg No 2828195). We are licenced by Ofcom , which is responsible for all radio services in the United Kingdom except those of the BBC. We are also members of the Community Media Association , which supports the development of Community Radio in the United Kingdom. Anyone supporting our aims can become a member by completing a membership form and sending it to us with a payment of £25 annual membership fee. Radio Verulam gratefully acknowledges the support by the National Lottery through the Arts Council of England without which we would not have been able to continue to provide our services.
