SDS Ramcides CropScience Private Limited is now a subsidiary of SDS Biotech K.K., Japan and part of the Multi-Billion Dollar - Fortune 500 company - Idemitsu Kosan, Japan. SDS Ramcides is an Agro Solutions Company present in the Crop Protection and Crop Health Segments, successfully marching towards its 5th decade in operation. Its 3 manufacturing facilities are located at Pudukkottai, Chennai & Jammu in India for producing Herbicides, Fungicides, Insecticides and Plant Nutrients, used across varied crops. The present installed capacity is 9800 KL per annum Liquids, 5470 Mtpa Wettable Powder 5490 mtpa Granules and 500 mtpa Dust. SDS Ramcides employs over 375 personnel, predominantly in Sales/Marketing and operations, working in 18 states across India and its Corporate Office is at Chennai, India. SDS Ramcides is currently building its International Business Division aggressively. SDS Ramcides has a strong marketing network with ability to promote and sell any new product and the current active network is to the tune of 3500 channel partners / dealers pan India. An excellent product development support with techno commercial competence to promote any new product after careful assessment of the market is also an added strength. Our Product Registration Division for indigenous and overseas registrations has tie ups with GLP laboratories to generate required data. We hold over 230 CIB registrations and over 60 International registrations. We export mainly to South East Asia, Africa & the Middle East. SDS Ramcides has a well-equipped R&D laboratory duly approved by the Indian Government, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR). Four products have already rolled out of the R&D in the patented category & commercialized in the Plant Health Segment. These products are benefiting farmers in measurable terms. SDS Ramcides has already generated data on Allwin Series Specialty Plant Health products through recognized Agricultural Universities situated across the country on potential crops. Data generation in continuing with the Universities for validation on other crops.
