RAMU NICO MANAGEMENT

Ramu NiCo Management (MCC) Limited ("Ramu NiCo") was established in 2005 as the Manager of the Ramu Nickel Joint Venture. Currently focusing on the Ramu Nickel Project in Papua New Guinea, Ramu NiCo strives to grow into a key international player in the development and operation of nonferrous mining projects. Since its construction commencement in 2006, the project has got endear support from both Chinese and PNG governments and assistance from all stakeholders. It is because of their support and the hard work and concerted effort of all Ramu staff that the construction and commissioning of the Project was successfully completed. On December 6th 2012, the Project construction completion and load commissioning success was celebrated. As we step into the operational phase in 2013, we are now in a new page of Ramu development history. The task for Ramu NiCo in the next years is the challenging Ramp-up the Project to its designed template; and then this mother ship of Ramu NiCo, loaded with Ramu members' dreams, can enter into an "express way" for sustainable development. Facing all these new challenges, Ramu people will adhere to scientific outlook on development, strengthen innovation and upgrading, improve operational mechanism and set up sound systems and procedures. At the same time, we will focus on improving production process, safety and environment protection and building a harmonious community. Only by all these efforts delivered can we aim to develop this project into a high management efficient, cross-cultural, environment friendly and modern enterprise.
