The Rashid Center for the determined ones was established in 1994, and during its history it has faced many challenges, The ongoing challenge for the centre is the widening of the communities awareness regarding the issues and needs of the students. The public and private sectors have been very supportive in helping us to complete the process and ongoing develop of the centre . Over the past years, we have achieved the State's strategy and implemented the vision of its wise government, which did not look at this category but rather had a vision of faith, empowerment, employment and integration. We have successfully developed vocational training and provide a rehabilitation programs that has enabled some of our students to receive job offers or progress onto college. Through its accumulated experience, at the Center, it has been able to develop its therapeutic and rehabilitation programs in accordance with the best scientific theories and practical applications, drawing on the expertise of its qualified staff from different nationalities and cultures, to meet the students individual needs. Our student intake consists of approximately 40 different nationalities. Over the years, we have insured that our students have not been living on the margins of society. As our vision has been and will continue to be one of supporting inclusion and for our students to be embraced within the community through cultural, artistic, sports and environmental activities. Our students also participate in national events.
