Redondo Beach Unified School District

The Redondo Beach Library Foundation (RBLF) is a 501(c)(3) non profit, tax-exempt corporation founded in 1994. The mission of the Library Foundation is to benefit the children, families and adults who use the Redondo Beach Public Libraries by raising tax-deductible contributions from individuals, corporations and private foundations. The Library Foundation is governed by an eleven-member Board of Directors, whose members represent most aspects of the City's business, social, charitable and political life. Currently, the Library Foundation's efforts are focused on raising funds to build a new North Branch Library. The North Branch Capital Campaign Committee, established in 2003, has raised over $2.5 million of the $4.7 million needed for construction of the new facility. As fundraising efforts continue, the Redondo Beach Library Foundation welcomes assistance from all citizens, foundations and corporations who share an interest in providing high-quality library services to Redondo Beach and the surrounding area.
