Redwood City School District

For more than 100 years, the Redwood City School District has educated K-8 students in Redwood City and portions of San Carlos, Menlo Park, Atherton and Woodside. When the Redwood City School District first began educating students, horses and buggies clogged the streets of the booming new county seat. The Redwood City School District offers a variety of school options to parents of kindergarten through 8th grade students. The district consists of 18 schools - nine elementary schools, a Spanish immersion school, two community schools, a child development center for preschools, one middle school, one alternative school, an academy and a technology institute.
