The Real Estate Agents Authority

The Real Estate Authority (REA) is the independent government agency that regulates real estate professionals in New Zealand. REA's purpose is to promote and protect the interests of consumers buying and selling real estate, and to promote public confidence in the performance of real estate agency work. REA licenses people and companies working in real estate, provides information to consumers about the real estate transaction, and deals with complaints.
