Red Flash, is a Swedish impact-driven fintech company, pioneering the govtech market with solutions for micro-taxation in Africa. The lead product, SMARTR Tax, a digital platform for local tax and revenue collection, has specifically been developed for the challenges of the informal sector. With SMARTR Tax, Red Flash helps to generate significant economic impact for local governments. Improving revenue collection creates sustainable economic growth, reducing dependency on foreign aid, hence enabling autonomy and strengthening of democratic governments. Red Flash operates in six municipalities in Senegal and is now expanding to Togo, Gabon, Guinea and Zambia.
