Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre is a private organisation established in 2011 for the care and education of children aged 6 months to 6 years. The centre is open 52 weeks of the year and closes for gazetted Public Holidays only. We believe children are born with an amazing potential and a wide range of abilities and that they are capable of greatness. Our aim is to provide a rich environment filled with learning opportunities where children can work with their peers and educators to co-construct a curriculum that captures their capabilities and enables them to reach their full potential. We recognise that positive and engaging early learning experiences builds success for life. The centre's philosophy and practices are inspired by the educational practices and beliefs of Loris Malaguzzi and Reggio Emilia. The curriculum is also underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework. Educators strive to build a strong sense of belonging, being and becoming for children and families. We recognise the relationships with our children and families have a significant effect on children's involvement and success in learning and work closely with families to build strong and effective care and education partnerships. Our team are highly skilled, professionals who are passionate about providing high quality care and a strong educational start to life for your child. They will work closely with you to develop goals for your child and provide meaningful learning opportunities. All our educators undergo an intensive two day training course on the Reggio Emilia approach. We value continuing education and all educators are encouraged to upgrade qualifications. We offer a monthly training program for our staff and have introduced a Mentoring & Professional Development program. Profiles of our educators and team members are displayed in the centre.
