Revival Animal Health was founded in 1989 by Dr. Roy Nielsen, Jr., affectionately known as "Doc Roy." This venture, to be a complete and trusted source of vaccines for pet breeders, was a second career - a "revival" - for Doc after a lifetime of caring for animals as a veterinarian. Quickly the company expanded from pet vaccines to an extensive line of pet healthcare products. The company continued to grow to serve not only breeders, but other pet care professionals and personal pet owners as well. After five years of spearheading this growth, Doc Roy handed over the reins to his son, Roy Nielsen III, who continues to serve as President of Revival and its cage-bird products division, Great Companions. Revival is a family-first, quality-focused organization, proud of its Midwest culture and work ethic, and dedicated to unparalleled customer service.
