At ReWa, our goal is to promote a cleaner environment and protect the public health and water quality of the Upstate waterways, while providing and developing the necessary sewer infrastructure for growth. We feel it is important for public utilities to evaluate how they can become more effective, especially in the face of certain challenges, like aging infrastructure and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements. Recognizing this need, we are adopting the effective utility strategies as developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in conjunction with six national water and wastewater associations. We are at the beginning of implementing these strategies throughout all organizational levels.
