RFsemi Technologies, Inc. is engaged in the provision of electret capacitor microphone (ECM) chips. Its products include ECM junction field effect transistors (JFETs) and integrated circuits (ICs), transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diodes, electro magnetic interference (EMI) filters and radio frequency (RF) transistors. The ECM JFETs and ICs are used as signal amplifier chips in microphone modules to transfer the audio signal into electrical signal. The TVS diodes are used to protect electrostatic discharge (ESD) from electrical transient state. The EMI filters are used to protect data from EMI and ESD in high speed data transmission and have applications in liquid crystal display (LCD) of the mobile phones, camera modules and data pot interfaces. The RF transistors are used as bipolar junction transistors for mobile communication products. On September 22, 2008, it established a China-based wholly owned subsidiary, which is engaged in manufacturing and sale of semiconductor elements.
