What is the age requirement to drive for Uber or Lyft? To drive for UberX or Lyft, you must be at least 21 years old. For Uber Eats, you must be at least 18 years old. Will you submit my completed inspection form to Uber or Lyft? Once your car passes the inspection and you make your payment, we will send the completed inspection form to you (either via text message or e-mail), which you can upload to your Uber or Lyft profile. We can provide instructions on how to do it. Can my spouse submit the same inspection form that I received from you? Uber and Lyft require that the driver's personal information be included on the inspection form, so the form with one person's form will not work for someone else. Can I submit the same inspection form to Lyft and Uber? Uber and Lyft each have a separate inspection forms that must be used for your vehicle inspection, one inspection will not work for both companies. We can perform your inspection and offer both forms, and we also offer a discount to customers who purchase both as a bundle. Can you deduct the inspection fee from my Uber/Lyft account? We are an independent mechanic and have no access to your Uber or Lyft account. If I get an inspection with you, can you guarantee my approval to drive with Uber/Lyft? The approval process is contingent upon a number of items, one of those being the vehicle inspection. Regardless of your vehicle, you still have to pass a background check and driving record check; Rideshare Mechanic is not involved and does not influence those steps of the approval process. My Uber/Lyft account has been put on a hold, Can you help? We are an independent mechanic and only provide vehicle inspections; we are not Uber or Lyft, and outside of the vehicle inspection, we have no influence on their decisions to allow you to drive.
