RiverRidge's primary focus over the past number of years has been the diversion of municipal collected waste streams from landfill on behalf of a number of local authorities within Northern Ireland. The company has been recognised in the past as one of the sectors' most innovative businesses in terms of waste treatment and is Northern Ireland's largest manufacturer and exporter of waste derived fuels to the waste to energy and alternative fuels sectors. The acquisition provides RiverRidge with greater collection coverage throughout Northern Ireland and particularly within the greater Belfast area.
