Riverstone International School
Riverstone International School is also a community school. Our students, parents and staff work hard to create a warm, welcoming, and nurturing school community to which we all belong. Students are also expected to understand and respect our local, national, and international communities and to play an active role in these communities through student-led service learning activities. Service learning activities occur throughout every grade level in the school. Whether organized by a class or an individual, all projects or time spent volunteering reflect the interests, creativity, and commitment of the students. Riverstone was proud to be awarded the 2009 Governor's Brightest Star Award for Schools as a reflection of our service to others. We were nominated a second time in 2011. Additionally, the student-run, not for profit organization, One Stone, was founded at Riverstone and has grown into a larger, independent organization of students from around Southwest Idaho.
