Rlon

RLON is a design and concept studio from Berlin. We create objects and develop narratives in the form of tangible products and kinetic installations for curious spaces and for curious minds. We trust in design having the ability to inspire new ways of thinking by suggesting new models and interactions. Therefore the main motivation for our work is sharing inspiration with you - curious mind. The objects we create invite you to see the beauty in seemingly trivial everyday situations. They are reduced to their functional essence, whilst at the same time celebrating the details of their handling. The narratives we create convey thoughts put in a new context. By diversifying perspectives and putting things out of the habitual way of interpretation, we aim to find intuitive approaches for understanding complex matters. We understand design as a way to unify the efforts of science to understand how things work, with the aim of the arts to express how things feel. Combining playful curiosity with seasoned practices, we unite the courage of naivety with purposeful professionalism. RLON is Josua Putzke, Philipp Eibach and Nehemia Turban.
