The company was purchased in 1977 by Earl Achberger and today his sons, Jim, President and Will, VP of Manufacturing, own and oversee daily operations of the company. In 1979 the operation, consisting of one bed-knife Moore & White sheeter, moved to southwestern Ohio. First to Hamilton, then Blue Ash, finally settling in Loveland, Ohio near the Fields Ertel Road exit from I-71. Roberds continues to grow at a rapid pace, with steady increases in annual volume and sales. The company employs 35 and in recent years has strategically bolstered its arsenal of paperboard converting equipment.
