Roco Rescue

Roco Rescue

Since 1982, Roco has trained, equipped, and served emergency responders from fire and police departments, industrial facilities, and military/governmental agencies around the world. Responding to the needs of a changing world, Roco has continued to expand its course offerings, training programs, and safety services in order to better prepare emergency responders for the varying tasks they may face and to assist our clients in maintaining a safe and productive workplace. Safety and compliance have long been our focus. In fact, our commitment to safety excellence was recently recognized when awarded the prestigious OSHA VPP Star Award for our on-site operations in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. OSHA's VPP Star is the nation's highest recognition of work sites with comprehensive, successful safety and health management systems. Roco is the first rescue company in the United States to receive this VPP award. Compliance and certification based on national consensus standards are critical benchmarks for training, equipment, and stand-by services. Roco programs follow the guidelines of NFPA, OSHA, ANSI, and the WCB in Canada. Our Rescue Technician certification program for Confined Space and Rope Rescue is based on NFPA's 1006 Professional Qualifications Standard.
