Room Mate Hotels is an innovative hotel concept that was founded in 2005 by Enrique "Kike" Sarasola, a former Olympic Equestrian, based on his vision that traveling to a city should feel like visiting a close friend. Guests of Room Mate Hotels are more than just visitors - they are treated like roommates during the duration of their stay. Currently, there are 18 hotels with more than 1400 guest rooms and suites in 12 locations including New York, Buenos Aires, Miami, Florence, Madrid, Barcelona, each featuring a contemporary, trendy design and affordable luxuries in the heart of the city. All Room Mate Hotels offer guests free Wi-Fi, complimentary daily breakfast until noon, exceptional service, and the comforts and warmth of home.
