Root River Hardwoods operates band and circle mills and has been producing the finest hardwoods for over 30 years. We buy and harvest timber in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa, home to the finest hardwood timbers. Lumber is specially hand selected from our sawmills for the Kiln Dried Lumber Stores, this process assures you the best possible color and quality available. Over 1 million board feet of Kiln Dried lumber and hundreds of sheets of plywood are inventoried at all times. We are committed to filling every order as quickly and completely as possible. Our trim, flooring, paneling and stair parts are custom - made to your specifications. We have an impressive selection of case, base and crown knives, or we can grind one to match your exact profile. Stair parts can be turned to your specific needs. Flooring is milled to the width of your choosing. Don't forget about interior solid doors made in almost any style, out of almost any species of wood. The green lumber and dimensional blocking from our sawmill can be sawn to any size.
