Roscommon County Council

Roscommon offers much to the holiday traveller and the more active-minded. The county is three-quarters bounded by water and has the longest stretch of the River Shannon of all the the counties through which it passes. Angling is excellent in most areas while golf enthusiasts can enjoy the sport on many splendid courses. Walkers and cyclists have thousands of miles of undisturbed roads. There are many suggested routes available.
