Rottman Creative Group (RCG) is dedicated to environmentally responsible practices that will contribute to reducing the global impact of environmental destruction. In compliance with the Forest Stewardship Council's (FSC) certification requirements (a global standard-setter for forest management), RCG is committed to using environmentally preferable printing systems devoted to forest conservation and the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. Although RCG has always been a supporter of FSC-certified printing, this year the group plans to take it a step further. The positive impacts of going green and increasing carbon offsets has lead Rottman Creative Group to commit at least 85% of all printing done by FSC-certified printers by the end of 2008, and 99% by the end of 2009. RCG's commitment to cleaner technologies will help neutralize the impact of global warming and ensure an active role in protecting our environment. These are a few of our "Going Green" objectives during our first year of commitment: Action 1 Our use of printers with FSC Chain-of-Custody certification guarantees that the wood comes from certified, responsibly managed forests, and is tracked from the source up to the printers. This ensures that manufactured products or paper according to FSC guidelines are produced with a focus on preserving the richness of forests, and impacting economic, social, and environmental concerns.
