Royal Containers

Royal Containers Ltd. was founded in 1980 by Ross Nelson. Succeeded by his daughter Kim Nelson, with two locations, Royal remains one of the largest independent corrugated converters in Southern Ontario. In Brampton we occupy 100,000sqft with several pieces of converting equipment, including a 4 colour Mini Martin Flexo Folder Gluer installed early in 2012. In London we occupy 75,000sqft and have similar pieces of converting equipment such as a 3 colour 66â€ Ward Rotary diecutter, Post gluer and a fully re-built 35â€ Serenco Flexo Folder Gluer. Since 1984, Royal Containers has been a partner in the sheet feeder operation called TenCorr Packaging. This is one of several strategic vertical integration moves Royal has made over the years. TenCorr has 2 corrugators; a 98â€ which runs specialty combinations of F, E, B, C, A and ACC Triple wall, and a high speed 110â€ that operates out of Brampton. In 2011, Royal, along with our partners at TenCorr, reaffirmed its position on vertical integration with an investment in Greenpac Mill â€" a 300,000 square ft., 430 million $US dollar facility located in Niagara Falls New York. Production is scheduled to start in July 2013. The service we offer our customers is the EASE of doing business. Our entire operating system is online and accessible remotely by not only all of our employees, but is offered to all of our customers. By utilizing a lean admin process we can eliminate days and hours out of the order cycle and make speed & ease our number one priority.
