Rytu Skirstomieji Tinklai

Rytu Skirstomieji Tinklai AB (Eastern Distribution Networks or RTS AB) is a Lithuania-based company involved in the distribution and supply of electricity. It operates an electricity distribution network in the Eastern part of Lithuania and is in charge of the maintenance, reliability and development of low and medium voltage electricity networks. The Company has four regional divisions in Vilnius, Panevezys, Alytus and Utena, and 25 territorial units. Rytu Skirstomieji Tinklai AB has three wholly owned subsidiaries: Rytra UAB, which provides transportation services; Elektros Tinklo Paslaugos UAB, which provides services of repair and maintenance of the electric networks and related equipment, and Tetas UAB, which is involved in the provision of electricity network design, construction, repair and maintenance services. As of December 31, 2008, the Company was in 71.35% owned by of LEO LT AB and in 20.28% owned by E.ON Ruhrgas International AG (Germany).
