As of now, we&s;re just a team of 3. Every customer service email, product created, order packed, etc. is done by us. But it all started with an idea of building a cosmetics brand for mature women. It came to us after noticing the standards the beauty industry has set for them: the nonsense of always trying to look younger and the anti-aging fluff are just two of the countless things that we think is wrong with the whole beauty space. On top of that, we understood that women over 50 start to go through various big changes in their life. Be it the menopause or hormonal imbalances, or even fighting cancer or getting widowed. Now, combine the immense social pressure to fight aging and having to go through the life struggles we face as we mature. It&s;s even difficult to grasp how hard this is on the mental health of mature women. We decided to stand up. We decided to do something about it. At Rumi Cosmetiques, we believe in celebrating life. We believe in helping each other unselfishly. We believe in trying to be the best version of ourselves every single day. We shouldn&s;t apologize and hide the flow of our life. Yes, we&s;re getting older. But in reality, it only means that we&s;re getting more fierce, wise &a; experienced. We believe in creating beauty products for mature women that highlight their natural beauty. We believe that mature women shouldn&s;t compromise. We believe that mature women should take care of themselves and to try to look as good as they can. But not in the way as the beauty standards dictate. Beautiful in their own way. And finally, we believe in facing and embracing the changes as we age. We need to start the discussion about the mental health issues mature women face. But to do that, we need to stand together!
